Mechanical Maintenance Employee (m/f/d)

In this role you ensure the technical availability of machines and systems to support smooth production. You will work within cross-functional maintenance and production teams to diagnose, repair, and optimize equipment, while maintaining thorough documentation. You will influence uptime and reliability through proactive maintenance, parts management, and effective communication with upstream/downstream colleagues. This position offers exposure to diverse teams and a contribution to safe, efficient manufacturing. You will help shape continuous improvement in maintenance practices and production performance.

• Maintain or repair machines, devices and production facilities
• Set up, commission and monitor production systems and processes
• Process device parts and assemblies, check dimensional accuracy and assemble components
• Assemble components into machines and technical systems; adjust and verify functions
• Coordinate work with upstream/downstream areas and with customers
• Evaluate technical documentation and prepare assembly drawings
• Maintain systems and, if needed, check and expand control technology components
• Repair and service defective machines; arrange repairs and procure or manufacture spare parts
• Continuously process maintenance plans
• Document all activities using specified forms and test documents
• Transmit necessary information to the next employee

• At least 3 years of specialized vocational training
• Professional experience in maintenance of processing and special-purpose machines
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift/4-shift system
• Flexibility, commitment, and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a structured, independent and reliable manner
• Business fluent German
