Overview

Company Overview: A leading Japanese construction company is looking for The TGA Construction Manager – Mechanical/Electrical Works Manager in the Berlin area. The role operates within an international and multicultural matrix organization with open communication structures, reporting directly to the Project Manager and working closely with the site coordinator. As a member of the company's core German team, the candidate will play a leading role in establishing the company. This position is the first of its kind within the German entity, requiring a pioneering spirit and independence to develop the technical area within the company.

Responsibilities

• Control and execution of M&E works on the construction site.
• Execution and billing of subcontractor works and deliveries according to contracts.
• Ensure timely execution of construction works according to the schedule and contract requirements.
• Analyze technical documentation and projects.
• Prepare calculations and price offers for construction services in the plumbing area.
• Create and maintain documentation, including as-built documentation.
• Actively participate in investor monitoring inspections.
• Provide technical advice and creativity on complex issues, bringing new innovative approaches and aspects to the company.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of four to five years of professional experience in implementing complex construction maintenance, modernization, or new construction measures in the TGA field and in a similar position.
• Experience ideally covers both mechanical (plumbing, ventilation, cooling, sprinkler systems, smoke extraction, etc.) and electrical installations.
• Proficiency in HOAI, AHO, VOB, and current DIN regulations.
• A degree (Dipl-Ing. or Master) in a relevant field, preferably electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Flexibility, excellent organizational and teamwork skills, management skills, and the ability to supervise and control subcontractors.
• Experience in cooperation and communication with subcontractors, and the ability to build and maintain networks with them.
• Entrepreneurial and project spirit, high willingness to work in a goal- and solution-oriented manner, and strong identification with the company's responsibilities and projects.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and fluent German, ideally good English skills.
