Media Strategy Director (d/f/m)

Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne - hybrid work.

Job Purpose

This role is part of our Growth Strategy team. We deliver end‑to‑end data‑driven campaigns that combine creativity and performance. As a Media Strategy Director you will be the main link between our client’s business objectives and our agency’s service portfolio, working closely with the Client Service team to design and implement strategic plans for well‑known brands.

What You’ll Do

• Create influential marketing strategies that push clients toward industry leadership.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and industry landscape.
• Translate data insights into clear narratives that persuade clients.
• Develop innovative, data‑driven digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Work with specialists in SEA, SEO, CRM, Data, and Social Advertising.
• Leverage deep knowledge of marketing, technology, and innovation to build comprehensive plans that deliver measurable results.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure optimal execution of campaigns and projects.
• Drive internal knowledge sharing and create new propositions and best practices.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to keep strategies cutting‑edge.
• Lead and participate in local and global new‑business projects.

What You Bring

• Fluency in German and English.
• Located and available to start directly from our Hamburg, Berlin, or Cologne offices.
• Professional experience as a digital planner, communications, or media strategist.
• Knowledge of the technical and creative capabilities of major digital networks (Search, Social, Display, Mobile, DOOH, etc.).
• Ability to conduct independent consumer research, develop data‑based target‑group insights, and create holistic communication strategies, campaign plans, channel and media recommendations.
• Skill to explain complex data and information in an easy and understandable manner to clients.
• Strong networking skills to bring together our different disciplines and specialists.
• High sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
• Proactive, pragmatic approach to new tasks.
