Medical Consultant (f/m/d)

As a Medical Consultant at IDEXX, you support veterinary professionals across Europe from a home base, providing expert diagnostic guidance and case management. You will collaborate with support, commercial, and laboratory teams to deliver practical, evidence-based recommendations. The role emphasizes continuous medical education and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing. You will engage with complex cases, contribute to educational content, and help shape diagnostic solutions for veterinary practitioners.

• Provide telephone consultations on diagnostic test selection and interpretation of laboratory results (in-house and reference labs)
• Offer medical case management guidance and treatment considerations to clients
• Advise on IDEXX diagnostic products and services, including test availability, sample requirements, and clinical utility
• Pursue ongoing medical knowledge through independent study, conferences, and internal CE opportunities
• Contribute to educational and promotional materials and review laboratory diagnostic updates
• Participate in IDEXX educational and organizational meetings as required

• Veterinary degree with the right to practice
• Extensive hands-on experience in Small Animal Internal Medicine
• Diplomate status with ECVIM or ACVIM (preferred)
• Fluency in XXX and strong English skills; additional German or Dutch is advantageous
