Medical Expert (m/f/d) - Region International Markets

Please note: This position is limited to an 24-month contract.

As a Medical Expert (m/f/d) in the Region International Markets you will develop and maintain strong scientific relationships with thought leaders and advocates in the therapeutic area worldwide in the regions LATAM, EMEA and APAC as well as educate our customers about Merz portfolio products and indications.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Medical Events: Planning and implementation of medical and scientific events within Region International Markets, including congress symposia, HCP workshops, medical product trainings for B2B partners, advisory boards with leading international experts and other medical and scientific events
• Medical Support for Medico-Marketing Team: Provide medical expertise and support to the internal medico-marketing team, including the development and approval of medical content for marketing materials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
• Medical Inquiries: Drive medical activities for the Merz product portfolio within LATAM, EMEA and APAC, incl. presenting scientific content, supporting local IITs, being medical point of contact within Region International Markets and answering medical information requests
• KOL Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support scientific communication, product positioning, and medical education efforts.
• Regional Support: Provide medical support to distribution partners according to local needs and planned medical activities. Drive exchange of medical best practices between countries.
• Patient Centricity: Ensure that patient needs are taken into account when planning studies, rolling out HCP education programs, and creating new medical content in order to work towards our common goal of “Better outcomes for more patients”
• Data Communication & Scientific Content Development: Develop and disseminate medical and scientific content for satellite symposia, independent medical education, advisory boards, and other communication platforms, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Organizational and Process Development: Work in accordance with SOPs, complications, policies & procedures and systems to support all Medical Affairs operations

YOUR PROFILE

• Medical or scientific university degree in Biology, Biochemistry or Pharmacy (MSc, PhD)
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry. Incl. track record of successful KOL management and experience in Medical Training & Support functions
• Strong project management skills. Ideally familiar with agile working methods.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to understand and translate complex scientific or clinical data into high quality medical information.
• Fluent in English language. German and further language skills is a plus.
• Strong team player with proactive communication style
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally
