In our evaluation, we place particular importance on candidates who have already worked in a similar role for at least three years in another agency or within a pharmaceutical/biotech company and can demonstrate relevant experience.

To achieve this level of excellence, we are seeking a nimble, enthusiastic, and highly detail‑oriented medical editor who specializes in proofreading, fact‑checking, and editing medical content. In this role, you will:

  • Proofread and edit a variety of medical materials, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Copyedit for content and style (both individual client style and AMA style), including grammar, spelling, consistency across materials.
  • Verify scientific and medical facts to ensure all information aligns with the references cited.
  • Support the medical team by implementing and sharing best practices for quality checks and referencing.
  • Upload materials and link references in clients’ approval systems such as Veeva.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including designers, medical writers, and subject matter experts, to ensure all content meets client expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of your work, ensuring error‑free deliverables.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries to ensure content remains relevant and scientifically sound.

Your Qualifications:

  • A degree in life sciences, medical writing, or a related field.
  • Work experience in a similar role for at least three years in another medical communications agency or within a pharmaceutical/biotech company.
  • Proven experience in medical editing, proofreading, or fact‑checking.
  • Strong command of medical terminology, scientific data presentation, and the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear and engaging content.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
  • Creativity, a developed aesthetic sense, and experience with digital media such as PowerPoint and HTML.
  • Fluent business English.
