Medical Technologist Biochemistry (m/f/d) in Rostock

Your Responsibilities

As Medical Technologist, you will perform biochemical routine analyzes on patient samples in a high-throughput environment. This includes performing of the analyzes and documentation in the laboratory. Additional tasks are the evaluation and checking of the results. Fluorometric enzyme activity assays and mass spectrometric biomarker concentration determinations (LC/MS) are performed.

In summary, you support the Biochemistry department in the following areas:

• Performing and documentation of biochemical analyzes in the laboratory
• Technical evaluation, checking and documentation of the results.
• Working according to GCLP guidelines
• Maintenance and care of the analytical devices (LC/MS)

Your profile

Since we need to fill this position as soon as possible, a valid work permit for the German labor market is required. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to assist with visa or work permit applications.

• You have a bachelor´s degree in chemistry/biochemistry or similar or a professional job training as laboratory assistant.
• You bring first experience in handling LC/MS devices and in biochemical analysis.
• You are conscientious in the implementation and documentation of laboratory processes.
• You enjoy result-oriented work and a structured approach.
• You are confident in using MS Office applications.
• You are very good in English.
• You convince with strong communication skills, team spirit and a quick grasp.
