As Microsoft Active Directory Architect in Covestro's Identity and Access Management team, you shape the company-wide IAM and AD landscape to enable secure, efficient access globally. You will collaborate with leadership, global partners and cross-functional teams to drive architecture, strategy and roadmaps. You tackle cost, efficiency and risk reduction through modern identity technologies and targeted guidance during implementation. • Develop strategy, design and architectural guidelines for the company-wide IAM and Active Directory environment
• Drive transformation to modern identity/directory technologies, including roadmap workstreams
• Identify innovative solutions to reduce costs, increase efficiency and minimise risks
• Provide targeted expert guidance to engineering and operations during solution implementation
• Collaborate with Audit, Risk, Compliance and Security to address items and remediation priorities
• Contribute to knowledge sharing on IAM standards and best practices through presentations and content

• University degree in information technology with deep expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and related Microsoft technologies
• Strong expertise in integrating on-prem AD with cloud environments (hybrid identity with MS Entra ID)
• PowerShell or similar scripting for automation and audit queries
• Experience with MFA, privileged account management; IT/OT architectures experience, preferably in the chemical industry
• Certifications in Identity and Access Administrator, CISSP or CISM are advantageous
• Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to learn new technologies and work under pressure
• Good German and fluent English (spoken and written)
