Mid Automation Engineer – Workato, Power Platform, Mulesoft

Identify, design and deliver automations that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency
Design and implement end-to-end workflows using platforms such as Workato and Microsoft Power Automate
Build integrations between SaaS platforms, cloud databases and internal systems using APIs, JSON data transformations and webhooks
Develop RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions for processes that cannot be integrated directly via APIs
Introduce AI-enabled intelligent steps into workflows for text classification, summarization and data extraction
Create reusable automation components, custom connectors, templates and patterns to accelerate pipeline delivery
Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot cloud flows and optimize workflows to improve scalability and maintainability
Document automated solutions and operating procedures clearly
Establish automation governance and best practices while evaluating new technologies to improve the landscape

At least 3 years of experience in similar roles
Hands-on expertise with automation and workflow integration platforms such as Workato, Power Automate, Mulesoft, n8n
Strong experience delivering cloud workflow automations and system integrations
Technical fluency in REST APIs, webhooks and authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys)
Deep familiarity with event-driven architectures and modern system integration patterns
Practical knowledge of handling API inputs/outputs with LLMs and structuring prompts within workflows
Hybrid coding ability: capable of writing Python or JavaScript for data array cleansing, JSON parsing and complex workflow logic
Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions
Knowledge of document processing and automated data extraction
Ability to create custom connectors for integration platforms
Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Pragmatic "builder" mindset, focusing on automation where it creates real business value
Proactive in evaluating and proposing new automation technologies
