Mobility Analyst - McKinsey Center for Future Mobility

As a Mobility Analyst in the McKinsey Center for Future Mobility, you will build and apply insights across mobility domains to inform client decisions. You work within a cross-disciplinary team, develop AI-enabled tools, and translate data into strategic recommendations for automotive and mobility players. • Conduct research and analysis across Mobility Consumer Insights, Mobility Components, and Mobility Electrification & Automotive Demand
• Develop and customize insights and model outputs for clients, using AI-enabled tools
• Analyze consumer data from surveys, interviews, focus groups, and research frameworks
• Forecast trends, market dynamics, and technology adoption to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with clients and internal experts to deliver actionable recommendations
• Proactively manage multiple workstreams and coordinate across stakeholders

• Degree in engineering, business, business informatics, economics or another STEM
• 2+ years of professional experience (including theses and internships)
• Strong interest or background in automotive/mobility and willingness to specialize
• Strong analytical background with quantitative skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; data visualization experience (Cursor, Claude, Tableau) and GenAI vibe coding
• Ability to manage stakeholders and work collaboratively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Excellent English communication; German a strong plus
