MTS, Technical Solutions Sales Architect

In this senior role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor at the intersection of engineering and sales, guiding early architecture work with strategic customers to shape Micron’s memory and storage solutions for AI, cloud, and data-center platforms. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate workloads into end-to-end architectures and influence long-term roadmaps before revenue. The position combines deep technical leadership with executive presence to accelerate adoption at scale. You will engage with NeoCloud, AI, and GPU customers to align technical strategy with business goals.

• Lead early technical discovery with NeoCloud, AI, and GPU customers to understand workloads and deployment models
• Translate customer requirements into end-to-end Micron solution architectures spanning memory, storage, and system-level design
• Influence platform and architectural decisions 12–24 months prior to revenue
• Develop and articulate technical differentiation in performance, scalability, reliability, and TCO
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Executives, Product Teams, and senior collaborators to align technical and commercial priorities
• Support value selling and proposal development through executive-level technical communication
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Business Units, and Field Application Engineers
• Maintain access to design-win pipeline, technical risks, and achievements
• Provide ongoing engagement to support solution sustainment and follow-on opportunities
• Translate workload requirements into Micron roadmaps and ecosystem priorities
• Shape customer preference toward Micron products
• Act as senior technical liaison to drive alignment and long-term partnerships

• 15+ years in solutions architecture, systems architecture, technical sales engineering, or senior technical leadership roles
• Strong understanding of data-center systems including GPU-accelerated compute, memory, storage, networking, and AI/cloud software stacks
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and executive audiences
