Overview

As Mud Advisor, you oversee drilling fluids and waste management on site and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will optimize fluid systems for geothermal wells and address wellbore challenges in a multi-wiscipline team. You’ll coordinate fluid changes, cementing planning, and waste handling while training现场 staff and delivering detailed reports. This role sits at our Karlsruhe area Phase 1 project, contributing to innovative, sustainable energy and mineral extraction.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Supervise contracted drilling fluid and solids control teams and ensure safe operations
Optimize drilling fluids and solids control equipment and develop wellbore solutions
Ensure compliance with drilling fluid parameters, plan fluid changes and cementing
Plan fluid storage and reagent quantities; manage waste on the rig
Train drilling personnel in drilling fluids and waste management
Prepare detailed daily, section, and final reports; report to Drilling Fluids & Waste Manager

Zentrale Anforderungen

Experience in the German market, ideally the Upper Rhine Valley
Training or qualifications as drilling fluid engineer/technician or extensive field experience
In-depth knowledge of fluid systems, drilling fluids, additives, contaminants, and basic geology
Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations; waste management understanding
Ability to create drilling fluid logs and work with technical software and MS Office
Technical background in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and geology
Motivated team player, willing to travel, open to training and innovative solutions
Class B driver's license
