Munich Re Service GmbH - Lead Product Advisor (m/f/d)*

In this Lead Product Advisor role, you shape and run high-impact advisory engagements that extend beyond the standard Location Risk Intelligence offering. You translate physical climate risk data into clear, decision-ready guidance for insurance and banking clients, and you steer cross-functional collaboration to deliver bespoke solutions. You engage senior stakeholders, support business development, and help refine advisory assets and governance. This position blends consulting rigor with product feedback to advance climate risk solutions at Munich Re.

• Identify, shape and lead complex advisory engagements beyond standard platform capabilities
• Translate physical climate risk data into actionable recommendations for insurance and banking clients
• Lead client meetings, workshops and stakeholder interactions with technical and business decision-makers
• Support Sales on bespoke use cases, including scoping, proposals and client presentations
• Coordinate advisory opportunities and delivery across the practice with Product Management, Modelling & Analytics, Sales and others
• Develop and improve advisory approaches, quality standards, delivery governance, templates and reusable client assets
• Contribute to business development by managing advisory pipeline and converting needs into engagements
• Provide client insights and market observations to influence product and advisory offerings

• 7+ years of relevant experience in consulting, advisory, climate risk, financial services or risk management
• Experience structuring ambiguous client questions and leading engagements from scoping to delivery
• Strong knowledge of insurance and/or banking sectors and linking climate risk to business decisions
• Deep understanding of physical climate risk and financial impact quantification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate content into actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial awareness with experience supporting business development and proposals
• Proactive, collaborative, self-directed working style and ability to lead across boundaries
• Experience coordinating contributors, mentoring and developing reusable methods
• University degree in economics, finance, insurance, risk management, environmental science, data science or related field
