Network Planner & Financial Modeller

Stellenbeschreibung:

A bit more about the job

We are looking for a new team member to join our Network Planning team, which is located in Berlin (DE).

The Network Planning team is responsible for determining the right location for the right type of charger to support investment decisions for infrastructure expansion and to reach our goal of clean mobility.

In other words you are a Network Planner & Financial Modeller. You spot locations where people with EVs are or potentially would like to charge, based on lots of data. You evaluate potential charging locations based on spatial, demographic and strategic factors and convert this into a business case. With your analyses you play a pivot role in the investment decisions for expansion of our network.

You will be part of a dynamic international team that collaborates closely with other departments such as Network Development, Finance, Product Development, Marketing & Operations.

This is you

We are looking for someone with a strong analytical and financial mindset, comfortable working at the intersection of data, modelling, and investment decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in financial modelling, data analytics, or a similar role focused on investment analysis, infrastructure, or energy/e‑mobility.
  • You have strong financial modelling capabilities, including building and maintaining business cases (cash flow modelling, scenario analysis), applying key metrics (NPV, IRR, payback, sensitivity analysis), working with cost structures (CapEx, OpEx) and revenue assumptions.
  • You are highly proficient in Excel (advanced formulas, macros, modelling structures) and comfortable working with large complex datasets.
  • You have experience or interest in market and location analysis, assessing demand drivers, analyzing competitive landscape, network coverage, and translating macro market insights.
  • Experience with BI / data tools (Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar) is nice to have.
  • You are affinity towards the EV and charging industry.
  • You are allowed to work in a European country and are located in Germany.
  • You can independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You have excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • You are fluent in English, and comfortable communicating with colleagues across Europe.

This is our offer

  • A competitive salary range: €60k – €70k annually.
  • A flexible, inclusive and international work environment.
  • Opportunities to interact with different key departments.
  • A collaborative and mission‑driven environment.
  • Real impact on the energy transition and the future of mobility.
