Position Overview

Oberarzt (m/w/d) – Innere Medizin – Kardiologie

Location: Region Herford, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany

Institution: Stationäre Rehabilitationsklinik

Bed capacity: 500 – 550 beds

Employment type: Full‑time (40 h/week; part‑time possible)

Contract: Permanent

Start date: Immediately (or as soon as possible)

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the internal medicine and cardiology department, and on the VAD‑specialization station for patients with implanted artificial hearts and/or after heart transplantation
• Independently treat rehabilitants, conduct diagnostic procedures, and develop therapy plans
• Participate in house visits and address social‑medical questions
• Provide consultative support to patients from other departments
• Supervise training assistants
• Participate in on‑call service

Qualifications

• Facharztanerkennung in Innere Medizin or Innere Medizin – Kardiologie
• Experience with care of artificial‑heart rehabilitants (preferred)
• Experience in rehabilitation (preferred)
