Rosario Therapy Center is a multidisciplinary medical practice based in Germany, specializing in providing comprehensive therapeutic services to American military families and expatriate communities. With over 20 years of combined experience, we continue to grow, we are actively expanding our services to include German speaking clients and local populations, furthering our commitment to accessible, evidence based care for diverse communities throughout Germany.


Our team consists of ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologists, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate, International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, a Clinical psychologist, an Occupational Therapist and Medical Interpreters. We operate multiple physical locations across Germany including Ramstein/Kindsbach, Grafenwoehr, and Hochheim, serving communities from Kaiserslautern to Wiesbaden, Stuttgart, and beyond.


As a preferred provider of Tricare Overseas and direct biller for several U.S.-based insurance companies, we provide accessible, evidence-based care through multiple modalities: in clinic, in home, virtual, and school based services. Role Description


We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to support our predominantly English-speaking client base in Germany. We welcome applications from international therapists! While German state recognition (staatliche Anerkennung) is preferred, candidates actively working toward recognition are strongly encouraged to apply.


The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and providing evidence-based individual and group therapy across the lifespan. Daily responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy for clients with a variety of conditions including developmental difficulties, parental/client training and associated documentation and case management.


You will work across multiple settings including in-clinic, in-home, virtual/telehealth, and school-based environments. Close collaboration with our multidisciplinary team including American Speech-Language Pathologists, Clinical Psychologist, Behavioral Health Coach, and other specialists is essential to provide integrated, holistic care.


This position offers flexibility in service delivery and the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including children with developmental disabilities and adults recovering from neurological events and other conditions. This current role will be predominantly focused on pediatric clients.


Qualifications


Required:



  • Education: Completed vocational training (Ausbildung) OR Bachelor's/Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (Ergotherapie)

  • Licensure/Credentials:

  • Valid German state recognition (staatliche Anerkennung) as an Occupational Therapist OR

  • Equivalent international OT credentials with a willingness/active process to obtain German recognition.

  • Language:

  • Good German language proficiency (B1 level preferred or willingness to obtain)

  • Fluent English language proficiency (minimum B2 level, C1 preferred) to conduct evaluations, write reports, and treat clients comfortably.

  • Conversational Spanish is a plus (not required)

  • Clinical experience:

  • Proven experience conducting occupational therapy assessments, setting treatment goals, and executing therapy plans.

  • Familiarity with the German healthcare system, local OT documentation practices, or willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds

  • Experience working with American, military, or international families and international health insurers.

  • Background in or additional training in pediatrics (e.g., sensory processing, motor delays, ASD, developmental support) is a plus.

  • Comfortable with service delivery across multiple settings (in-clinic, home-based, school-based, or via telehealth).

  • Work authorization: Eligibility to work in Germany (international applicants are welcome to apply)
