For a challenging offshore energy infrastructure project we are searching for a

Subproject Manager Automation & Telecommunication (m/f/d)

Start: | Duration: 4 years

In this key role, you will be responsible for the technical management of a central subproject within an offshore grid connection project - from planning through quality assurance and commissioning to handover to the operator.

As part of your role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You will be responsible for the technical and contract-compliant implementation of the automation and telecommunications work package for an offshore converter platform and onshore station across all project phases
• You will manage and coordinate the general contractor with regard to engineering, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and handover of the assigned systems
• You will ensure compliance with permits, technical specifications, standards, and contractual requirements, and support the preparation for handover to the operator
• You will review and evaluate technical documentation, coordinate scope changes, and ensure that project documentation is audit-proof
• You will lead a team of technical specialists and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives
• You will oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), shipyard and offshore activities, coordinate technical quality assurance, and support the successful commissioning of the facilities

Does your profile meet most of the following requirements? If so, we look forward to receiving your application:

• A degree in a technical field, such as electrical engineering, automation engineering, communications engineering, information technology, or similar
• Several years of professional experience in automation, control systems, or telecommunications for power transmission, industrial, or infrastructure projects
• In-depth knowledge of automation and communication systems such as SCADA, ICMS, CCTV, DACS, VSAT, AIS, PAGA, or comparable technologies
• Experience in managing contractors and in the technical coordination of complex projects or subprojects
• You are characterized by a high sense of responsibility, a focus on quality, and an independent and structured approach to work
• You communicate confidently in English and are willing to travel internationally and work on offshore assignments

General Conditions:

• Location: Hanover with regular international business travel (approx. 30%)
• Working conditions: 37-hour workweek
• Compensation: Attractive compensation under a temporary staffing arrangement with a gross annual salary of approx. €80,000 - 100,000, depending on qualifications and professional experience
