Overview

In this role you drive OHSE across the Teningen facility and support AFEMEA strategic initiatives. You collaborate with plant management to uphold legal compliance and AFEMEA policies while steering a safety-first culture. You will oversee risk assessment, incident data analysis, and the Integrated Management System to sustain certifications. You lead safety planning, audits, and training to prevent injuries and incidents. This is an opportunity to shape safety performance in a production environment and partner with stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Drive a safety culture to achieve zero injuries at the Teningen site
Collaborate with SMT to meet health, safety, and environmental standards
Share and implement best practices across Amcor plants
Provide monthly safety statistics and KPIs
Plan and supervise safety measures and audits
Maintain the Integrated Management System and external certifications
Monitor OHSE incidents and define corrective actions
Train contractors and update OHSE policies
Conduct risk assessments and develop Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain relationships with employees, authorities, insurers, and external partners
Ensure compliance with local regulations and AFEMEA standards (ISO norms, OHSAS 18001, FDA, BRC)
Direct and support fire safety initiatives including ATEX and fire protection systems

Zentrale Anforderungen

Ideally a degree level qualification in Engineering, Science or Operations or equivalent practical experience
Experience in production environments with diverse technologies; experience with exhaust air cleaning systems (e.g., regenerative thermal oxidiser) is an advantage
Ability to motivate others in OHSE performance; strong key OHSE capabilities
Interest in Quality Improvement and Continuous Improvement
4–5 years industrial experience
Languages: German (fluent), English
Team player with ability to bridge conflicting interests
