The first model, the ONVO L60, was unveiled in May 2024, with a starting price of 206,900 yuan. Role Overview

ONVO is looking for a highly skilled AI Visualization & Video Design Specialist to push the boundaries of automotive design visualization through advanced AI technologies, cinematic storytelling, and high-quality video production.

Based in the ONVO Munich Design Studio , The ideal candidate combines a strong automotive design sensibility with exceptional visualization skills, an experimental mindset, and deep expertise in AI-powered image and video generation.

This role will work closely with automotive global design teams to accelerate the visualization process, communicate design intent, and create high-impact content for design reviews, concept presentations, and branding assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality automotive videos, cinematic sequences, and visual presentations using state-of-the-art AI image and video generation tools.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows for vehicle animation, camera movements, lighting, environments, materials, and cinematic storytelling.
• Maintain vehicle design accuracy and visual consistency across generated images, video sequences, and multiple production stages.
• Translate creative briefs and design visions into strong visual concepts, storyboards, cinematic sequences, and finished videos.
• Develop distinctive visual languages for ONVO concepts, products, and design presentations.
• Apply advanced cinematography principles, including composition, camera movement, lighting, pacing, editing, and sound design.
• Create engaging content for internal design reviews, executive presentations, concept development, and selected brand communication projects.
• Experiment with image-to-video, reference-based generation, 3D-to-AI workflows, AI compositing, upscaling, and motion control.
• Evaluate new AI models, platforms, and techniques, identifying opportunities to improve creative output and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with the ONVO global design teams, supporting projects across time zones.

Required Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional automotive visualization, cinematic video production, and AI-generated visual content.
• Proven hands‑on experience with advanced image and video generation tools, with the ability to deliver production‑quality results.
• Strong understanding of automotive design, vehicle proportions, surfaces, materials, lighting, and visual presentation.
• Excellent skills in video editing, compositing, color grading, and post‑production.
• Visual sensitivity, composition, storytelling, and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage projects from creative brief to final delivery.
