Open-Source Intelligence Watch Analyst
We are seeking a motivated Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) analyst to provide direct support to a 24/7 combatant command watch floor. In this role, you will conduct rapid research and analysis of Publicly Available Information (PAI) to meet time‑sensitive intelligence requirements and deliver actionable insights to senior leaders and operational staff. You will apply advanced OSINT and PAI tradecraft, digital search techniques, and geo‑enabled tools to monitor emerging threats, support crisis response, and contribute to contingency operations in real time.
As part of a rotating shift team, you will play a critical role in sustaining continuous situational awareness for the command. You will often work independently during high‑pressure and minimally staffed shifts, ensuring timely intelligence production, concise updates, and accurate reporting in support of global operations.
You Have
- 3+ years of experience in OSINT or PAI research, collection methods, and multi‑source intelligence systems
- Experience conducting digital searches across various environments
- Experience with PAI platforms, datasets, technologies, associated tradecraft, and geo‑enabled tools within the Defense Intelligence Enterprise
- Experience working on an intelligence watch staff at the national, combatant command, intelligence center, or service headquarters level
- Ability to brief leadership and collaborate with colleagues
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced operational environment, including during overnight or minimally staffed shifts
- Ability to support rotating shift schedules and surge operations during crises and contingencies
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience in intelligence analysis
- Completion of Government or Commercial OSINT Training such as BOSIC, BOTC, AOTC, DIA Basic OSINT Course, CASO, or SANS 487
Nice If You Have
- Experience as a defense all‑source analyst or with the military, including writing ICD‑203 compliant products
- Experience supporting intelligence analysis related to African political, security, or socio‑economic issues
- Experience identifying and analyzing disinformation networks, including source vetting for bias and information accuracy
- Experience with other intelligence disciplines, including SIGINT, HUMINT, or GEOINT
- Ability to show a score of 2/2 on the DLPT or equivalent in French or another critical language
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
