Operative Buyer (f/m/d)

This applies to you

• Completed commercial training and a good technical understanding
• Professional experience in operational procurement within a manufacturing company is desirable
• Confident communication skills and strong organizational abilities
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
• High sense of responsibility and strong ability to work in a team
• Reliability, sense of responsibility, and flexibility
• Good knowledge of MS Office, AI tools, and ERP systems
• English skills are an advantage

Your everyday work

• Independently managing the operational procurement process – from requirements planning through to ensuring material availability on schedule
• Creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders
• Monitoring and ensuring delivery deadlines as well as actively managing schedules with suppliers
  Negotiating framework agreements, prices, and terms and conditions
• Requesting and evaluating quotations as well as conducting price comparisons
• Processing and following up on supplier complaints
• Maintaining item master data and procurement data
• Providing operational support for projects and project-related procurement activities
• Contributing to the optimization and further development of procurement processes

I prepare offers for the sales team and research freight and packaging costs. I am gradually expanding my knowledge so that I can also provide support for more complex requests. The support and understanding of my colleagues is of particular importance to me, especially when looking after sick children or when day care or school is cancelled. In such cases, the company allows me to work from home.
