Purpose of the position:
Drive the development, governance, and continuous improvement of global training content and frameworks for Air & Sea operations. Collaborate with global, regional, and country OPEX teams to enhance operational performance and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve training content (incl. digital learning modules), ensuring accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness
- Manage training initiatives and projects derived from the global Air & Sea strategy
- Act as key point of contact for global training governance within Air & Sea
- Identify and prioritize training needs through collaboration with stakeholders, user feedback, and performance insights
- In collaboration with OPEX Optimization and Processes drive change management and process improvements for global operational processes
- Support division in preparation for major change initiatives and system or process updates (e.g., new system roll-out, major process changes)
- Provide guidance to the OPEX community for any process or functional changes from the TANGO release
- Provide process and technical expertise to ensure quality and consistency of OPEX training materials
- In-depth understanding of business process context and operational environments in global freight forwarding with focus on Air- and Seafreight
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team across dimensions, levels and cultures of large matrix organizations
Required Experience :
- At least 3 years of experience in Air- or Seafreight operations or equivalent position providing operational knowledge
- Profound knowledge of freight forwarding with focus Air- and/or Seafreight
- Preferably experience delivering Training or Teaching either in-person or remote
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical / business areas or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to create visually effective training materials
- Fluency in written and spoken English
