What you'll do

  • Manage the operational elements of product management specifically for air traffic management solutions, ensuring they meet industry standards and user needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to guarantee that products align with market demands and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and strategy.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of product features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, translating them into actionable tasks for development teams.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch, utilizing metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of product capabilities and limitations.
  • Prepare and present product updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting progress and areas for improvement.
  • Support the sales team by providing product knowledge and assisting in the development of sales materials and demonstrations.
  • Ensure that all product documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant teams and clients.
  • Participate in industry conferences and events to represent the company and gather insights on emerging trends and technologies.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within the aviation or IT industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of air traffic management systems and an understanding of the relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.
  • Knowledge of international aviation standards and best practices, enhancing your ability to navigate the regulatory landscape.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, providing insights into client needs and expectations.

Skills & tools

  • Proficiency in product management software and tools, enabling efficient tracking and management of product development processes.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or similar, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, translating complex requirements into clear functional specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges as they arise.
