What to Expect

Tesla's Vehicle and Powertrain Engineering teams in Berlin are looking for an Engineering Operations Coordinator to serve as the operational backbone of the organization. You will work closely with engineering managers, HR, and factory stakeholders to support our engineers in building the world's best vehicles.The Vehicle and Powertrain Design Engineering teams in Europe are developing and launching new vehicle programs and technology for Tesla’s global products and working closely with Gigafactory Berlin and the local and global test engineering teams.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works highly organized, takes ownership without being asked, and brings structure to ambiguity.

What You’ll Do

• Own the day-to-day workplace experience for the Vehicle Engineering team — from managing seating and workwear budgets to organizing team events and acting as the main liaison with facilities. Track and act on Pulse Survey feedback, coordinate anniversary recognition, and ensure the team has a well-organized, engaging place to work.
• Coordinate recruiting efforts for vehicle engineering by collaborating closely with recruiting and Design Engineering hiring managers specifically for graduate and early talent programs but not limited to it
• Serve as the operational bridge between Design Engineering and Gigafactory Berlin — managing non-technical workflows, service agreements, and team administration. Coordinate executive visits, own the non-technical agenda for weekly team meetings, and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly across travel, PTO, and site housekeeping.
• Manage the engineering fleet for Vehicle Engineering, including vehicle allocation, scheduling, and coordination with relevant stakeholders
• Perform additional responsibilities in alignment with Design Engineering management in daily operations assigned to meet business needs.

What You’ll Bring

• 1-3 year of experience (more is acceptable) in operations, program coordination, project management, or a related field — ideally within an engineering, automotive, or technology environment
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing attention to detail
• Strong communication skills — able to interface confidently with engineers, managers, factory teams, and senior leadership
• Fluency in English required; German is a strong advantage given the Berlin factory context
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively multitask, prioritize tasks and processes, and track findings and deliverables
• Proactive, self-directed work style — you identify what needs to be done and do it
• Driven and enthusiastic with a genuine interest and passion for Tesla's mission
• Have and continue to maintain a driver's license valid in Germany and safe driving record
• You have the legal right to work in GermanyNice to have
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, or Computer Science is advantageous or professional experience in comparable role
• Experience coordinating recruiting programs or graduate schemes is a strong plus
