Oracle DBA (L3) – RAC & Performance Tuning Specialist (f/m/d)

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Exadata environments, including RAC, ASM, Dataguard, InfiniBand, storage cells, health checks, patching, upgrades, and migrations
• Administer and support high‑availability Oracle databases (11gR1/R2), performing clusterware/GRID configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning at SQL and database levels
• Execute robust backup, recovery, and migration strategies using RMAN, Data Pump, and export/import, ensuring adherence to RTO/RPO standards
• Develop automation and scripting solutions to streamline database operations across Solaris, Linux, and AIX platforms, leveraging OEM Grid Control for monitoring and maintenance
• Provide expert incident, problem, and performance troubleshooting, collaborating with development and offshore teams to resolve complex issues in a 24x7 global support model

Requirements:

• 10-12 years of production support experience as Oracle DBA with at least 6 years of strong experience on Exadata platform
• Demonstrable experience of managing high-performance, high-capacity databases in a critical production environment
• Solid Oracle 11gR1/R2 RAC experience including build, general administration, troubleshooting (Break/Fix) and performance tuning skills
• Experience in Clusterware (GRID Infrastructure) - CRS management and configuration Skilled in Oracle ASM and Dataguard administration
• Expertise in SQL & Database Level performance tuning skills Expertise in backup and recovery and migration using RMAN, datapump and export/import.
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
