Organisational Design Lead

Kraken is a technology company focused on creating a smart, sustainable energy system. This role sits within the Organisational Design team and supports clients to shape structures and ways of working that unlock the value of Kraken.

What you’ll do

• Design organisations that work in practice, translating ambition into practical designs such as roles, capabilities, spans, decision rights, and interaction models.
• Move clients from current‑state to target‑state through clear phasing, sequencing, and pragmatic trade‑offs.
• Own a portfolio of client accounts, managing senior relationships and spotting risks early.
• Partner with Global Practice Leads to share client learning.
• Anchor design in product, data, and automation, ensuring alignment across Operations, Product, Innovation, and Data.
• Shape BPO strategy, deciding what to keep in‑house versus partner and designing governance.
• Build belief and bring leaders—with trusted facilitation, workshops, and influence—to understand change and lead through it.

• Clients have a clear, credible target organisation aligned with customer outcomes.
• Operations are enabled alongside Product, Innovation and Data teams.
• Organisations evolve with the Kraken platform rather than being redesigned frequently.
• BPOs are integrated as true extensions of the operating model.
• Leaders understand and lead through the new model.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience designing and running operating models in complex, regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of BPO models and partner ecosystems.
• Comfort working with product, technology, and data teams.
• Excellent facilitation and influencing skills, with credibility at executive level.
• Experience leading senior outcome‑driven workshops and interventions.
• A bias for action and delivery.
• Deep understanding of the human impact of organisational change and expertise in creating psychological safety.
