The Oakland Schools Education Foundation (OSEF) is looking for a visionary and strategic leader to join our team as our new Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) .

Based in Oakland County, MI , OSEF works to bridge the gap between education and the business community. We focus on mobilizing resources and partnerships to provide students with scholarships, work-based learning, and real-world career exploration.

About The Role

The CAO will be a senior leader responsible for designing and executing our advancement strategy. This person will serve as a vital connector between education and industry, translating student needs into compelling investment opportunities for partners.

Key Focuses Include

• Fund Development: Leading a comprehensive fundraising strategy and building multi-year funding pipelines.
• Relationship Building: Serving as a primary ambassador to businesses, nonprofits, and philanthropic institutions.
• Strategic Storytelling: Developing "cases for support" that articulate the ROI of investing in the future workforce.
• Leadership: Partnering with our Board of Directors and leadership team to drive organizational growth.
