YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Software development and software administration, including the following aspects:
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of the software solutions in use
- Development and enhancement of new and existing software solutions
- Scripting and automation
- Programming and integration of interfaces
- Version control and code management
- Error analysis and ensuring functionality, as well as further development of the software in use
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Consulting, training, and support for users as 2nd-level support
YOUR PROFILE
- A college degree, preferably in computer science, business informatics, software development, or a comparable field (bachelor’s degree or university of applied sciences diploma), or certification as an IT specialist for application development with three years of professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of the administration and configuration of software solutions in SaaS and on-premises environments
- Extensive experience and knowledge in operating software for large organizations
- Solid knowledge of database systems and API development, as well as solid programming experience (e.g., with C#, Java, Python, YAML)
- Understanding of software architectures and system integration in complex organizations
- Knowledge of university administrative processes is a plus
- Ability to independently familiarize yourself with complex issues, as well as the ability to identify new areas of responsibility from the user’s perspective
- At least a good command of German (minimum B2 level) and good written and spoken English (comparable to B2 level)
- Very strong organizational and communication skills (enjoys communicating with users)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High level of motivation, initiative, and commitment
- Independent, structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Ability to work well in a team
- Strong customer- and service-oriented approach
