Overview & Responsibilities

Wipro Consulting provides end-to-end business transformation—from insights to results—shaping next-generation operating models. We are at the forefront of AI‑led transformation, helping global enterprises harness AI, GenAI, and technology strategy to unlock business value at scale.

We are seeking a management consulting leader to establish and scale our Manufacturiing consulting business across the DACH market. This leadership role will help define of the regional Manufacturing advisory and consulting strategy, build a high‑impact consulting practice, and position Wipro as a market‑leading AI transformation partner. The role will drive growth across Manufacturing industries while leveraging Wipro’s broader consulting and technology ecosystem.

The leader will:

• Grow the Manufacturing consulting business across DACH region with a focus on:
  • Manufacturing & Quality
  • Industry 4.0 & Digital Twin
  • Go-To Market & After Market Experience
  • Sales & Supply Chain Optimization
  • Business Process Transformation & Business Value Assessment
• Build and grow senior client relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor to CXOs on AI‑led transformation, operating model, cost efficiencies and critical business transformation programmes
• Drive revenue, market presence, and practice scaleLead large‑scale people and transformation programmes delivering measurable business impact
• Originate and convert consulting opportunities to drive profitable growth
• Deliver complex, multi‑shore engagements with commercial accountability
• Shape thought leadership and go‑to‑market propositions

The consulting leader we are looking for

Support Business Development, Sell & Deliver

• Outstanding leadership, communication, relationship building and networking skills on the client side, ecosystem partners and internal organization. German language is mandatory.
• Successful in generating consulting business from new and existing accounts and have the capability to drive and lead customer relationships. Important to have established networks across the DACH Manufacturingmarket.
• Bring a self‑sufficient approach that will be both pro‑active in supporting business development opportunities as well as effective at creating personal utilization in our ‘sell & deliver’ operating model (after a period of embedding)
• Delivery and program expertise with experience in handling multi shore consulting projects with distributed teams delivering sustainable customer value.

Driving Transformation

• Be a champion and passionate advocate for AI‑powered transformation to reposition Wipro as a strategic partner to accelerate and sustain customer value. The individual must be an ambassador for Digital Adoption and Digital Transformation across Manufacturing industries.
• Significant transformation proposition definition and engagement shaping using core and disruptive technologies to solve business problems for tangible business benefits at large enterprise clients.
• Ability to drive and lead strategic execution, manage change, build relationships with clients and partners, motivate teams and achieve results
• Bring strong program and consulting disciplines (e.g. Project / Program Management, Storytelling, Executive Communications, Commercial disciplines etc.) - ideally from Big 4, Accenture, top‑tier management/strategy consulting firms

Talent Management

• Creative, collaborative, and motivating consulting leader who can focus diverse teams on common outcomes and goals
• Nurturing, developing, mentoring of top talent into future consulting business leaders
• Execution of organizational people strategy with strong collaboration from HR and Recruitment leads
• Proactively seeks opportunities to attract top diverse talent at all levels

Thought Leadership

• Strong knowledge of the Manufacturing CxO agenda and experience of developing and delivering strategic initiatives with a significant focus on process, data and technology.
• Brings own opinion on the key issues facing CxO's across the region and able to demonstrate how they have leveraged this in a collaborative environment to develop points of views and propositions
• Ability to converse with industry leaders and analysts on trends within the market
• Proactively propose solutions, investment decisions along with published artifacts, industry speakerships, analyst interactions etc.
• Internal content and offerings creator, writes publications, blogs and whitepapers
• Utilizes social media effectively with their digital presence to enhance the Wipro brand presence.
