Partner Systems Engineer

In this role you act as a strategic technical ambassador for Cisco in Germany, accelerating partner practice development and technical self-sufficiency. You will align partner initiatives with Cisco’s technology strategy to ensure architectural consistency and drive partner-led growth. You’ll lead technical enablement, GTM collaboration, and complex engagements while representing Cisco at events and shaping the regional technical community. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role with a clear focus on cross-functional collaboration and market expansion.

• Strategic architectural leadership to drive technology adoption across the Cisco portfolio
• Partner engagement and enablement, aligning partner labs and demos with Cisco roadmap
• Drive GTM success in Secure Networking, Full Stack AI infrastructure, and Workplace Experiences; lead POC engagements
• Corporate interlock as a field intelligence feedback loop with Portfolio SEs to ensure unified One Cisco front
• Guide partners through complex support and TAC escalation, focusing on long-term feature adoption and renewals
• Support demand generation and pipeline with technical credibility to enable partner-led conversions
• Represent Cisco at partner events and technical forums to build thought leadership and community
• Orchestrate the Partner Account Plan technical track and align enablement activities with strategic objectives
• Capture partner and customer requirements to influence product development

• 7+ years of technical experience in networking
• Expertise in Networking, Security (e.g., Firewalls, ISE), Data Center Networking, or Collaboration Devices
• Proven experience engaging with partner roles from engineers to C-suite
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to value-sell and run technical workshops
• Strong analytical skills for assessing complex business and technical challenges
• Self-driven with ability to build relationships and execute plans in Germany
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of time in Germany
