Patent Engineer (m/f/d)

CREDOXYS in Dresden/Germany develops high-quality specialty chemicals for current and next-generation organic displays (OLED) and organic solar cells (OPV). For this scientifically demanding field of technology, we are seeking a Patent Engineer (m/f/d) with a background in chemistry who would like to apply their expertise at the intersection of new materials, technological development, and strategic issues.

Your responsibilities:

• Analysis of patent applications and patents within the competitive technological landscape
• Conducting patent searches and evaluating the state of the art
• Addressing complex patent-related issues, particularly in the field of chemistry
• Developing technical arguments in collaboration with internal departments and external patent attorneys
• Monitoring competitor activities and identifying potential courses of action
• Preparing and communicating the results to internal decision-makers

Your profile:

• PhD or master’s degree in chemistry or a related field
• Strong interest in patent law issues, preferably with experience in the patent field, patent searches, or patent analysis
• Knowledge of OLEDs and organic electronics, or willingness to quickly familiarize yourself within this field
• Analytical mindset, structured approach to work, and strong technical understanding
• Ability to work well in a team and enthusiasm for a dynamic startup environment
• Excellent skills in German and English language
