Within Group People and Culture, the team manages and coordinates HR operations for management and staff along the HR value chain and implements and aligns policies for Allianz SE (Holding). The HR Business Partner liaises with the Management in order to develop and execute the HR strategy for the respective business areas in close alignment with business strategy. The team counsels Management in HR policies, procedures and systems and consults on strategic HR topics.
How can you make an impact?
Compliance & Data Protection
- VAIT/DORA/TPRM/BCM/BIA processes, Business Continuity Management
- CSRD reporting
- German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)
- Data Privacy Champion (PIA, Vendor Management, SAR requests); IRIS requests, overtime reporting and handling
- Planning Dialog and Strategic Dialog
- Preparation of analyses, reports, and decision‑making templates for management and the executive board
Access Management
- Administration and approval of role reallocations and access permissions within P&C Allianz SE
Process Management
- Support for HR projects, process optimizations, and standardizations within Allianz SE
- Continuous development of HR services in collaboration with service providers
Governance
- Central interface between People & Culture at Allianz SE and its service providers
- Ensuring the Retained Organization
- Governance responsibility and strategic alignment of HR processes, acting as the main point of contact while ensuring compliance with internal audit, compliance, information security, and data protection guidelines
Professional Qualifications and Experience
- Excellent academic track record with studies preferably in Economics, (Organizational) Psychology, Sociology, Law or equivalent educational background
- 2-3 years of professional experience in HR, ideally in an operational role
- Experience in interacting with Senior Management at eye level
- Strong computer literacy in MS Office required, knowledge of SAP‑HR and SuccessFactors is an advantage
- Fluent in English and German (spoken and written)

- Flexible, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
- Can‑do attitude radiating a positive spirit and strong customer and service orientation
- Ability to develop networks and strong relationships both within HR and to the business
- Strong negotiation skills proven in previous roles
- Excellent communication and facilitation as well as interpersonal and intercultural skills
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills and structured way of working with high attention to detail
- High level of discretion and sensitivity for dealing appropriately with sensitive, confidential matters
- Good understanding of the strategy, business requirements and corporate culture of Allianz Group
- Proven ability to work independently and to demonstrate flexibility and availability
- Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital/tech is a plus
- Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solution
