Job description

• Synthesis of organic linker molecules
• Synthesis of hydrogen bonded organic frameworks (HOFs)
• Preparation of (HOF) thin films
• Structural characterization using NMR, FT-IR, single crystal X-ray diffraction, PXRD, XPS
• Characterization of materials including various techniques as nitrogen, physisorption, SEM, TEM, Raman and XPS/Auger spectroscopy
• Investigation of ionic and electrical conductivities
• Investigation of gas storage properties
• Cooperation with internal and external partners with different areas of responsibility and expertise

This project offers a unique opportunity to work interdisciplinary at the border of materials chemistry, physical chemistry, organic synthesis and in situ characterization techniques, contributing to deep understanding of the processes in photovoltaic and optoelectronic materials for energy storage applications.
