We are researching the development of innovative manufacturing processes for highly efficient perovskite and tandem solar cells. One focus is on scalable printing and coating processes such as inkjet and slot-die coating, as well as on the integration of AI-supported process monitoring.

Your Tasks

The goal of this project is to develop high-quality polycrystalline perovskite thin films through the control of temperature and pressure during perovskite solar cell fabrication.

Your Responsibilities

  • Development and optimization of perovskite semiconductor materials
  • Advancement and analysis of fabrication processes and their interactions
  • Project work and support of day-to-day laboratory operations
  • Contribution to teaching (e.g. coordination of lab courses, tutoring in a lecture)
  • Publication of research results in scientific journals and at conferences

The position offers the opportunity to pursue a PhD.

Your Profile

  • A university degree (Master's degree) in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, physics, electrical engineering, materials science or related courses of study
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Enjoyment of working in international teams
