PhD student/junior scientist – Time‑resolved photoelectron circular dichroism experiments at ELI Beamlines

We are offering a position of PhD student / scientist (part‑time). The candidate will be employed at the University of Kassel, Germany to work on the TR‑PECDELI project within the BMBF network. Within the TR‑PECDELI project, an experimental setup for time‑resolved photoelectron circular dichroism (TR‑PECD) will be developed at the ELI Beamlines facility.

Job Description

• Participation in development of setup for TR‑PECD at ELI Beamlines;
• Polarimetry measurements in the extreme ultraviolet spectral range;
• Participation in beamtimes at ELI Beamlines and other facilities.

Requirements

• Completed university degree in physics, chemistry or nanoscience
• Willingness to travel: employment is at the University of Kassel, however, it is required that the candidate spends extended periods at ELI Beamlines
