Physical Security Specialist - Access Governance & SiPort Administration (f/m/d)

Job Description

  • Independently administer access control platform, including profile creation, modification, governance, and structured allocation in accordance with defined security policies.
  • Design, update, and maintain access profiles and authorization concepts based on corporate standards and business requirements.
  • Execute and monitor access workflows, ensuring compliance with internal approval structures and audit requirements.
  • Process tickets and requests related to physical access management and ensure timely resolution within defined SLAs.
  • Manage day-to-day badge office operations within a large enterprise environment, including issuance, replacement, and lifecycle management of access cards.
  • Create card layouts, produce identification badges, manage shipping orders, and perform image editing where required.
  • Conduct regular review meetings to coordinate and validate access profiles for defined business areas.
  • Provide telephone support and manage general daily access-related inquiries.
  • Support and execute special operational requirements for events, receptions, annual general meetings, and construction projects in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Train reception and security personnel across German locations on access governance processes, badge handling procedures, and system usage.
  • Apply tools for documentation, reporting, and structured analysis.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews related to physical access governance and documentation standards.
  • Contribute to sub-projects aimed at enhancing existing access systems and operational processes.

Competencies and Skills

  • Professional experience in physical security operations, access governance, or badge office management within a large corporate environment.
  • Proven hands‑on expertise in access control, including profile management and access workflow administration (preferably Siemens SiPort).
  • Experience in day‑to‑day badge office operations in a large enterprise.
  • Ability to handle third‑party service providers.
  • Experienced in training employees and operational staff in structured security processes.
  • Understanding of security‑related interdependencies and technical security concepts.
  • Ability to work independently within defined security policies and processes.
  • Experience in handling ticketing systems and structured workflow environments.
  • Organizational skills, reliability, and high attention to detail.
  • Strong discretion abilities in relation to work in high security environments.
  • Ability to obtain governmental security clearances.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in German and English.
