Position

Physicist / Research Technology Sales Manager (M/F/D) – Taunusstein, Germany (Start as soon as possible)

Core Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the creation of world‑class research instruments for scientists in assigned regions.
  • Build personal relationships with the international customer base, acting as a technical liaison.
  • Acquire in‑depth understanding of customer technical requirements and discuss frontier‑level solutions.
  • Bring creativity and background knowledge into the sales process, fostering a win‑win environment.
  • Promote products known for outstanding performance and represent the company at international events.
  • Lead commercial and technical responses to tenders, demonstrating entrepreneurial and hands‑on skill.
  • Convey customer feedback to Product Management and R&D.
  • Collaborate closely with international team colleagues.

Requirements

  • University degree in science (physics or related field).
  • Hands‑on experience in at least one branch of surface science (UHV, ARPES, STM, etc.).
  • Business fluency in English; additional language skills welcome.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Quick learning, flexible and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Team orientation, reliability, and a strong sense of integrity.
  • Courage to apply even if the first two requirements are not fully met.
