Our well‑known customers worldwide require individual painting systems for coating car bodies, truck cabins, bumpers as well as agricultural and other machinery. As a specialised engineering office for paint shop planning, we accompany our customers from the initial concept through the entire planning and implementation to the completion of commissioning.

We carry out exciting projects in the field of e‑mobility and energy efficiency for our customers in the automotive sector. The transport sector is responsible for around 20 % of CO₂ emissions in Germany, and the painting process in a car factory consumes up to 80 % of energy in the form of electricity or natural gas. That is why we develop efficient painting processes and support the transition to electromobility and CO₂ neutrality.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects with overall responsibility, taking into account deadlines, budget, capacities and customer satisfaction
• Communicating with assigned customers, from sales to processing to after‑sales
• Planning and design of complete paint shops and individual components
• Preparation of specifications
• Supporting design discussions with plant suppliers
• Carrying out preliminary acceptance tests
• Monitoring and analysing the progress of the project from the design phase through on‑site assembly to commissioning at customers
• Identifying and assessing risks, and introducing and monitoring corrective measures and alternative solutions
• Coordinating the interface with construction / TGA
• Presenting project status reports to internal committees and to the customer
• Creating reports and documentation

Qualifications

• Completed technician training, technical studies with a focus on process engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology or surface technology
• Several years of professional experience as a project manager, also in related industries
• Very good understanding of business processes (development, design, product lifecycle management, etc.)
• Independent and structured way of working, decisiveness, confident demeanor, strong communication skills and persuasiveness
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (5–20 %)
