Region NCE and Global Offshore > NCE > Technical Operations North

Technical Operations is part of Service NCE (Northern & Central Europe) and supports the organization in the installation and maintenance of a variety of SCADA systems for the control of medium- and large-scale wind turbines. Our mission is to transform a group of wind turbines into a fully operational power plant that meets contractual and regional requirements. Our customers are mainly larger energy supply companies and professional investors.

Your tasks

• Maintain an overview of new research and development (R&D) products and accompany their operational implementation


• Actively support technical escalations and risks for our business


• Be the point of contact for our four technical communities and ensure that initiatives are aligned and add value to the business


• Actively engage stakeholders and participate in global and regional communities


• Advise management on technical gaps, priorities, regional risks, etc.

Qualifications

• Degree or comparable educational background in information technology, automation technology or telecommunications


• Strong leadership skills, for example as a project manager or manager


• knowledge of the wind energy industry; Experience with SCADA systems is an advantage


• Fluent in written and spoken English

Competencies

• Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to convey complex technical topics in an understandable way


• Professional skills in stakeholder management


• Ability to work independently and set the technical direction for a team
