Задачи

• Enhance and maintain foundational platform tools and systems
• Work hands-on with Kubernetes clusters, AWS infrastructure and Terraform-based configuration management
• Integrate and manage open-source components to provide robust, scalable primitives for engineering teams
• Build and maintain services that abstract and orchestrate infrastructure
• Design and implement backend services, including APIs and controllers, to provide a simplified self-service experience for engineers
• Develop software for infrastructure migrations, high-scale traffic management and security tooling

Требования

• Significant professional software engineering experience
• Experience writing, testing and deploying robust backend services using strongly typed languages
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP
• Proficiency with Kubernetes
• Experience solving problems through automation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform
• Curiosity about systems and ability to investigate complex issues
• Understanding of how modern distributed applications fail and scale
• Interest in building platforms focused on reliability, performance and developer experience
• Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving requirements
• Nice to have: Direct experience with Go, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Terraform and Envoy Proxy is not required
