PLC programmer Automation (m/f/d)

In this role you design, adapt, and optimize PLC programs to ensure reliable automation in production. You will commission, test, and troubleshoot systems while supporting the rollout of new production technologies. You create technical documentation and drive ongoing system availability through optimization, working with internal teams and external partners. You also train production staff to operate automated systems, contributing to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment with cross-functional collaboration.

• Develop, adapt, and optimize PLC programs (Siemens S7, TIA Portal)
• Commission, test, and analyze errors on automation systems
• Support introduction of new production systems and technologies
• Create technical documentation and instructions
• Maintain system availability through continuous optimization
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
• Train and instruct production employees in using automated systems

• Completed training or degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or comparable qualification
• Several years of PLC programming experience in an industrial environment
• In-depth knowledge of Siemens S7 / TIA Portal; ABB systems advantageous
• Knowledge of Siemens Sinamics drive technology, SEW, Siemens and Pilz sensor and safety tech
• Confident MS Office usage
• Good English skills
