This role is remote; however, the individual must be based in the NYC metro area to support occasional on-site visits as needed.
The Portfolio Analyst supports internal stakeholders and clients by delivering high-quality business intelligence, data analysis, and performance reporting. This role focuses on transforming data from multiple sources into meaningful insights, dashboards, and recommendations that support portfolio-level decision-making and strategic planning. The position’s prioritized focus will be Retail Portfolio while also leveraging tools and functions from other service areas on the account.
Develop, review, and interpret analytical reports and dashboards for internal teams and clients, with a strong focus on portfolio and performance reporting.
Aggregate and manage data from multiple systems to produce accurate, comprehensive analyses and actionable insights.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports; respond to data and reporting requests from JLL and client leadership.
Perform trend analysis and scenario modeling (e.g., exit, maintain, grow) to support portfolio strategy and business planning.
Identify opportunities to improve data processes, reporting efficiency, and performance measurement across client and JLL teams.
Partners with cross‑functional teams, including technology and other departments, to support successful implementation of BI and data initiatives.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key reporting systems, BI tools, and data processes used in day‑to‑day portfolio operations.
Manage daily data intake, validation, and updates to meet ongoing reporting and dashboard requirements.
Maintain and report on benchmarks, KPIs, and performance metrics at the portfolio level.
Support Account Leadership and clients in defining reporting standards, frequencies, and delivery models to ensure timely and accurate insights.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four‑year college or university required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in portfolio analysis, BI, data analytics, or a related field.
Business Intelligence & Data Management Skills:
Proven experience with BI and analytical reporting tools, with heavy emphasis on Power BI and Tableau .
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
Experience using data query and report generation tools such as SQL Server and Report Builder is a strong plus.
Understanding data integration, validation, and management best practices.
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS ) platforms preferred but not required.
Knowledge of Python, Microsoft Power Platform, Smart Sheet are beneficial but not required.
Analytical & Financial Skills:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and documents.
Basic financial knowledge, including percentages, discounts, commissions, and foundational financial analysis.
Communication & Professional Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data‑driven insights clearly to diverse audiences.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver accurate, timely, and reliable outputs in a fast‑paced environment.

Estimated compensation for this position:
88,200.00 – 108,100.00 USD per year
