What you can expect

• An exciting position at the interface of medical microbiology and systems biology
• Integration and analysis of large-scale molecular, phenotypic, and clinical data
• Application of systems biology approaches to analyze omics data (particularly metabolomics and proteomics)
• Contribution to and design of experimental studies (e.g., mass spectrometry-based analyses), depending on experience and interest
• Interpretation of results in a biological and medical context

What you bring along

• PhD in life/natural sciences (ideally systems biology, bioinformatics, or related field)
• Formal background in bioinformatics / related field, or documented experience in analysis of large-scale biological datasets
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• A background or strong interest in microbiology, infection biology or related fields
• Reliable working ethics
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Excellent communication of scientific results
