Affiliation: Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID) – Open Science service provider, conducting research on science acceptance, big data, and metascience in psychology.

Job Overview

The position will be part‑time under a stipend offered by a partnering foundation. The successful candidate will conduct a self‑developed research project on science communication in the context of the Leibniz Lab Pandemic Preparedness, focusing on pandemic prevention and responses to health crises. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate the Leibniz Lab PhD programmes (E13, 33%) at ZPID.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct quantitative research on science communication.
• Develop and implement a research project addressing pandemic prevention and health crisis responses.
• Collaborate with Marlene Altenmüller and/or Kai Sassenberg.
• Coordinate the Leibniz Lab PhD programmes as part of the employment (E13, 33%).

Qualifications

• PhD in psychology, communication science, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in quantitative research on science communication.
• Proficient English (spoken and written); German skills are advantageous but not required.
• Motivation and skills in organizational and coordination activities.
