Power Generation Expert - Remote in Europe

In this role you will apply your energy expertise to deliver and lead multi-disciplinary projects across Europe and Eurasia, advancing reliable, affordable, and secure energy systems. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to conduct technical analyses, feasibility studies, and due diligence, shaping tender specs and project delivery. You will represent the company as a thought leader, support client engagement, and coordinate complex assignments across regions. This is a senior, impact-driven position with global reach in energy transition initiatives.

• Support delivery and management of a portfolio of projects focused on Europe & Eurasia, aiding growth diversification
• Support or lead technical teams in feasibility studies and formation of concepts and tender specs for thermal energy production
• Contribute to technical due diligence, and prepare technical specifications for gas engine and cogeneration facilities
• Assist project implementation units with procurement, design checks, progress monitoring, and quality control
• Support FIDIC-based contract management and implementation
• Collaborate with other Tetra Tech units in Europe to pursue new opportunities
• Engage with clients and participate in complex assignment delivery as part of a team
• Promote Tetra Tech ES capabilities through knowledge sharing and representation at events and online
• Represent the organization as a thought leader at conferences, webinars, and social media

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with energy focus or Bachelor’s with 5+ years relevant experience
• Minimum 12 years of energy sector experience
• Experience in feasibility studies, technical due diligence, procurement support, and project supervision
• Experience with gas engine power generation and cogeneration facilities
• Experience evaluating energy efficiency opportunities across sectors and preparing related specifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams
• Willingness to travel internationally for project sites and conferences
