Power Solution Architect – Strategic Accounts

• Provide technical expertise to Sales nationwide during business development and proposal efforts
• Interpret project specifications and guide estimation and design teams
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and technical documentation
• Develop scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures
• Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and operational goals
• Evaluate and select components using technical and commercial criteria
• Recommend design optimizations and alternative solutions
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams
• Refine solutions based on customer and stakeholder feedback
• Represent IEM at industry events and promote technical solutions
• Mentor teams and support training initiatives
• Influence technical and commercial strategies to differentiate IEM solutions
• Advocate for technology integration and digital transformation
• Report to the Power Solutions Architect Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
• 5+ years in power system architecture
• Experience working with an electrical power-distribution OEM
• Expertise in UL and IEEE standards and industry practices
• Data-center and colocation power-distribution experience, including high-availability distribution architectures
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Power equipment sales or commercial collaboration experience
• Innovation leadership and vendor engagement
• Must be located in the United States
• Willingness to travel
