• Investigation of power system switching/lightning transients, insulation coordination, resonance (SSR, SSTI) and converter-driven stability
• Acquisition and execution of power system studies related to EMT
• Technical support of our national and international customers as modelling and simulation expert for power system transients
• Planning and execution of training and seminars worldwide about EMT and other topics related to power system analysis
• Development and improvement of PowerFactory application examples and guidelines
• Support of the PowerFactory-development related to EMT-simulation, corresponding models, co-simulation and corresponding interfaces
• Attending international conferences and trade fairs as well as participating in working groups in your field of expertise
• Product presentations and technical support for sales processes

Aufgaben

• Investigation of power system switching/lightning transients, insulation coordination, resonance (SSR, SSTI) and converter-driven stability
• Acquisition and execution of power system studies related to EMT
• Technical support of our national and international customers as modelling and simulation expert for power system transients
• Planning and execution of training and seminars worldwide about EMT and other topics related to power system analysis
• Development and improvement of PowerFactory application examples and guidelines
• Support of the PowerFactory-development related to EMT-simulation, corresponding models, co-simulation and corresponding interfaces
• Attending international conferences and trade fairs as well as participating in working groups in your field of expertise
• Product presentations and technical support for sales processes

Profil

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Power Engineering or a related field
• Experience in power system transient analysis and a solid understanding of power system dynamics
• Hands-on experience with PowerFactory or other established EMT simulation tools
• Programming or scripting skills , preferably in Python; experience with other scripting languages is an advantage
• Experience with DSL and/or Modelica modelling is beneficial
• A strong interest in broadening your expertise and exploring new technical fields
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills , with the ability to interact confidently with clients and project team members
• Willingness to travel for customer projects and professional engagements
