PR Consultant (Account Manager)

As a PR Consultant, you will support clients and be responsible for coordinating the daily implementation of projects in the areas of public relations and social media. You will ensure that our clients’ goals are achieved and proactively contribute to the development of appropriate measures. Furthermore, you will support our Account Executives and ensure they receive the necessary guidance to perform their tasks efficiently and in accordance with defined standards.

Responsibilities

• Supporting our clients in securing and expanding their media visibility
• Providing strategic advice on narratives and PR strategies
• Creating media pitches, press releases, feature articles, and other media-related content
• Building and maintaining client relationships through regular, proactive communication
• Establishing a network of relevant journalists and target media outlets
• Proactively identifying newsworthy topics and strategically placing them with suitable media contacts
• Organizing and coordinating interviews, background briefings, and other briefings
• Monitoring media coverage and analyzing response and reach
• Maintaining and updating our press distribution lists
• Managing workload and team development
• Close coordination and collaboration with our international colleagues
• Contributing to new business and business development projects
• Communication Support
• Collaborating with account teams at the local and international levels to determine the best way to achieve the client’s business objectives
• Identifying the goals to be achieved and the best communication channels to reach them Achievements
• Project management according to client requirements, e.g., media relations, training, social media management, branded content campaigns, copywriting, marketing, and events
• Managing the client approval process for all designed materials
• Promoting internal and external process reviews and improvements to ensure a high standard of work, regardless of the project
• Ensuring that all materials are delivered to the client on time and to the highest standard
• Monitoring project/campaign progress and providing recommendations for changes where appropriate

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Successfully completed university degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a comparable field.
• Two to five years of proven professional experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to manage core responsibilities independently.
• Previous experience within an agency environment is highly desirable.
• Exceptional English writing and editing skills at a professional level, supported by a strong portfolio or proven track record in copywriting.
• Prior knowledge of the financial sector or experience working with financial clients is considered a distinct advantage.
