PR & Media Relations Expert (m/f/d)

In this role you will manage external visibility for Rentschler Biopharma across regional, national, and international media. You will execute PR activities aligned with the global strategy and support senior leadership in external communication and thought leadership. You will translate complex scientific topics into clear messages and manage crisis and stakeholder communications. • Execute PR and media relations activities in line with the global communications strategy
• Build and maintain relationships with regional, national, and international media
• Develop and publish press releases, materials, articles, and media engagements
• Support positioning of senior leadership and experts in external media
• Prepare and coordinate media engagements, interviews, and briefing materials
• Identify and evaluate relevant media opportunities and visibility formats
• Support communications for strategic collaborations, partnerships, and industry ecosystems
• Translate complex scientific topics into clear external materials
• Assist in crisis communication and sensitive situations
• Contribute to evaluation and success measurement of PR activities

• 15+ years of professional experience in public relations, media relations or corporate communications within the pharmaceutical, biotech or CDMO industry
• Proven experience working with regional, national and international media and established relationships with relevant trade, business and industry media
• Experience in executive communications support, reputation management and crisis communications in an international environment
• Strong understanding of the biotech, pharmaceutical and CDMO ecosystem and science communication needs
• Ability to translate complex scientific and strategic topics into credible, audience-appropriate communication
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English for executive and media contexts
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate in a matrix organization
• High professionalism, sound judgment and discretion with sensitive topics
