Principal Business Consultant - Commercial

The Role

As a Principal Consultant in our Commercial Business Consulting practice, you won’t just advise on the future of Life Sciences – you’ll be building it. We help our customers bring treatments to patients faster by fundamentally transforming their operating models, powered by the industry’s most advanced technology, AI and data. Unlike traditional firms, we move beyond slides and theory to deliver tangible, scalable execution that others simply cannot replicate.

What You’ll Do

• Project Mastery: Act as the Lead for Veeva BC’s largest and most complex global projects, maintaining full accountability for excellence across multiple teams
• Strategic Growth: Lead and own Business Development for Commercial BC, focusing on architecting and winning key deals exceeding $1M+
• People Leadership: Manage and mentor high-performing consulting teams, taking responsibility for the professional growth and delivery standards of the practice
• Thought Leadership: Develop and champion industry‑leading thought leadership in Commercial/Medical/Tech/AI to keep Veeva at the cutting edge of Life Sciences
• Customer Success: Serve as a trusted advisor to C‑suite stakeholders, leveraging Veeva’s data and software to solve their most critical challenges

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years of Life Sciences Consulting experience (Management Consulting preferred)
• Track Record: Proven ability to win and deliver $1M+ consulting engagements
• Expertise: Deep domain knowledge in areas such as Go-to‑Market strategy, Brand Planning, Product Launch, Omnichannel strategy, Segmentation and targeting, combined with a comprehensive understanding of the Life Sciences landscape
• Leadership: Extensive experience managing multiple project teams and senior‑level customer relationships
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Experience delivering SaaS or Tech‑enabled consulting solutions

Compensation

Total compensation: 160,000 - 260,000 EUR
The total compensation range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential total compensation range for this role. Please note that actual total compensation may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position’s total compensation may be composed of other types of compensation, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
